 We live on the blue planet…

Or is it a rainbow planet?

As a mosaic artist I spend a lot of time looking at walls, feeling one cat short of crazy.

 Many of the mosaics are ‘ repair’ jobs …the walls are/were old and crumbling.Many of my walls are subtle colors,my court yard mirrors Moroccan court yards, Blue and White.The garden wall was full of holes repaired by mosaics,tiles,mexican carvings,a pie dish,the star…cost 50 cents,and dry wall.the green wall changed to white this week…less decorative!

My thoughts turned to colored lakes,and rivers:Colored spices in Istanbul in the Spice market.

There ae many beautiful colors on our planet,and many rainbow colored lakes, and rivers…

TheYellow River,(which has turned red, due to pollution,The White Nile and the Blue Nile.

How are these beautiful colors formed?mainly bacteria or minerals,the same with shells,when collecting shells there were some beautiful colors too.Shells always grow in a soiral always in the same direction.

How were lakes formed? Mainly by huge holes in our planet,due to meteorites, or mining or when the planet was formed.

Do you live near a lake or the ocean,or a sea,or perhaps a river?

So our subject is about the colors on our planet,lakes,caves,holes on our earth,caves,towns built around mining areas,or even perhaps for wealth, how we devastated or earth,for coal,minerals, or diamonds.

Do you live near any colored lakes?rivers?I love the skies and rainbows,and woukd love to visit many of these lakes or rivers.
