Do You Spend A Lot Of Time In The Bath? What Is Your Bathroom Like?
Every time I moved into a new house, the bathroom was always the first to be completed.
I’ve always wanted a bathroom with a sea view or the deserted countryside.
I’ve experienced many bathroom styles around the world. Japan and Turkey were the most tricky.
My Turkish friend asked… Do you know how to use the bathroom…. Of course.
One minute later… Sorry please explain how to use the bathroom.
Usually, two people use a bathroom. ( same sex).
The bathroom had a large round bowl very low on the floor. There was no outlet for the water to run out. The bath was filled from a tap into a bowl and poured into the large bowl.
There were two small stools for seating.
A person is soaped down, and bowls of water are then thrown over them.
The water is emptied onto the floor with the bowls.
The hamam in Turkey scrubs and pummels for about half a day and pours hot water over you. It’s an exhausting experience. Dehyating too. Can’t say I enjoyed it too much.
In Japan, you wear rubber boots and soap and shower out of the tub. Then jump into practically boiling water to soak. Do not add cold water; that's a No-No.
Disinfectant is added - a sort of green color - and everyone uses that water for a week.
Never use soap near the bath.
Bathing appears to be a cultural experience.
The blue and white bathroom was one I tiled in my house. The white bathroom one I like.
I prefer a bath to a shower, but mostly shower in hot weather.
Do you sing in the bath? Post your favorite songs.
What type of soap or bubble bath do you use?
I don’t really like very scented soaps, but vanilla is one of my choices.
Oh, I love tiling and mosaicking, but a builder knocked all the shells off my bathroom wall. I brought the shells from Australian beaches.

However, we will all send special greetings to our favorite, Mr Lee. He’s having a tough time.

What Has Happened To Our World?
Even in previous depressions, there used to be glamour and style!
There used to be humor, great music, and laughter. Revive in our blog!
Now, the majority of people wish to appear as ordinary and as mundane as possible, sink into the background in their daily lives.
I am stopped in the streets countless times with people begging for food or money. Inflation is high, and food costs rising.
I used to love shopping for clothes, now it’s difficult to find just one thing I want to buy, and should I actually be spending in present times?
Style is out of the window, even in Hollywood, except for perhaps a few of the outrageous stars..
For months, my town appears to be marooned in surrounding roadworks, roads, and walkways resemble obstacle courses, and I had to cross rubble and walk planks for miles to return home from our capital city yesterday. All transport is rerouted causing confusions and chaos. Cranes and constructions appear all over the place, of monstrous sky rises and rabbit hutch living. This is all costing billions?!
Even the weather reflects uncertainty, stability, and is chaotic. Unpredictable…???
Let’s post memes and gifs of better times, music too, and chat. Your thoughts, hopes, reflections, and dreams.
Respect all commenters, no religion or politics, please.

Are You In The Mood For Music? A Trip Down Memory Lane!
What influences you to like certain types of music?
For me, it appears to be certain decades…perhaps memories, and certain sounds of particular musicians. Certain poetic phrases or words stimulate a chord in my brain.
When I was younger, I just sang tunes without much thought, and loved to dance to rock n roll. These days, I listen and appreciate some artists more and more for the words to a song.
I grew up knowing many musicians personally, so I supported them as friends.
Boy George was not one that I liked until I met him, and when I found him intelligent, amusing, and genuinely nice, I became a huge fan. I had a crush on Eric Clapton, and he asked me for a date…its secret, I wont share.
When I lived in Italy I loved Italian ballads, in Turkey I loved the old Turkish music, so would include culture or geography in my musical taste.
For a ridiculous romance in Japan…. Maneater Daryl Oates…and I’m turning Japanese.
I would say some music like Who’s Going to Drive You Home by the Cars went around in my head forever. The KINKS with Summer Afternoon did the same.
Here are some possible influences that pertain to characteristics.
Would you agree on these characteristics for fans?
Do you have other reasons as to why you listen to certain musicians or music genres?
Let’s talk about our favorite music and why we like it. Maybe you had a crush on a star.
Post your memories of music, chat with friends, memes, gifs, and trailers.

Work Hard, Play Hard!
It’s true; people ask you what job you do to see how they are going to treat you.
What type of work do you or did you do?
Did you always enjoy your work?
Was your work boring, interesting, exciting, dangerous, difficult, or satisfying?
Did you work long hours or short hours?
Were your bosses easy or difficult to work for?
I’ve mainly worked in teaching adults, as an artist, and for charities.
I worked my way through uni in menial jobs, and teaching.
I have had toxic bosses, the best and kindest bosses, good conditions and bad working conditions, also some very difficult colleagues, and people to deal with.
I chose work that I would enjoy, as I never wanted to be bored spending the majority of my life working. Always needed people skills and chose to work hard.
The biggest reward was creating a good atmosphere and achieving success.
An artists work…not as easy as it sounds!
Do you have any anecdotes of your work, that are interesting or amusing?
Have you ever had any accidents when working?
Alan Jackson lived his songs about work, as did many performing songwriters or singers.
Were you rewarded well for your work?
And what skills did you need or have to work at?
So the discussion and music, memes, gifs, videos, and gifs are on a work theme.
Respect all commenters, and most of all, enjoy and chat with friends.
