And So To Bed

Freda Kahlo was a famous artist. She had an accident as a teen and had part of her leg amputated and back problems. She was carried to her art exhibitions in her bed.

What type of bed do you have? I have two iron beds, one painted white (a double) and a single metal bed. Both are for guests.
I have a king-size bed in white and five pillows. I hate single beds, as I tend to fall out.
I also made a loft bed on the third floor.
I have duvets made of goose down and an electric blanket, love to keep warm and snuggle.

I don’t like curtains, so the light wakes me in the morning.

What position do you like to sleep in?
I like to read or blog in bed in the evenings.
Do you sleep well? Or are you restless?
I'm not the best sleeper these days, and I wake up at odd hours but am an early riser.
Do you dream? Have you had any nightmares?

Are You In Harmony?

How do you create harmony in your life and family? Are you always right when you are?
Are you doing the right thing? Is harmony from inner peace?
Sometimes doing the right thing is the wrong path, seemingly, to take.

Once, I helped a lady on a bus, when a group of boys tried to touch her. The driver threw the boys off the bus. I supported her by going to the police with her. We reported the incident.
Had they found the boys, I would have been held in court as a witness, but as it was the driver got into trouble, as it was against  the rules for him to stop and throw the boys off!
For me, it was right for the driver to act as he did and right for me to help the distressed lady. Yet a lengthy court case was the last thing I needed or wanted, and it was wrong for the driver to get into trouble.

Island Life

Islands have a fascination. Some are really beautiful, others could be considered dangerous.

We would all like to be on an island with beautiful white sand beaches, blue skies and sunshine, palm trees, and beautiful villas, like paradise.

I visited the small island above. It used to have one house, one church, and housed one policeman. It was a half-hour walk across and back, not exactly exciting. Now there is a hotel, but I never returned to see it.
