The past is made of our memories.
However some people block out bad memories and forget good memories.

Karma.
Karma is the accumulation of all past causes you have made which manifest in present day. How you react to the present, programs your future.
There is individual karma and shared karma; for example, your family, colleagues, crowds that you are in.
Karmic retribution may be lessened by deep apology within your life, courage, changing for the better, perhaps astral time travel, helping other people in our present lives.
The same problems arise until we face them, and change within.

My favourite era was the sixties, music, art, literature, fashion, a renaissance in time, with all the arts coming together….a period of optimism….Bell bottom trousers.
My happiest era was in the eighties when I became an artist achieving more than I could ever dream of.

The Yardbirds - For Your Love
Music initiates memories of people and events, hence my choice of, ‘For your love’, by the Yardbirds. I met many music stars. Sometimes a piece of music may trigger happy or sad events. Enya’s music became the theme music for 9/11, that had been a favorite piece of mine.🥲☹️ I no longer play that piece.
When I think of my grandmother, she was amazed that man landed on the moon, she often made her memories live in my mind…she always talked of the past and cat whisker radios.
Then came the sixties with flashy American cars, the boogie-woogie, sugar stiff petticoats…a time of freedoms for the young: a great comparison to curtailments of lockdowns and channelling people in the present day. Architecture has changed enormously to high rises from the traditional, from dirt tracks to highways and flyovers.
We need a new, optimistic future out of the present-day doom and gloom.

I hope that the new president will really change things for the better and that this is not an image sell. Britain is in doom and gloom with the new PM. Wars rage in the Middle East and Ukraine, borders have been breached, and cultures and people mixed.
This is the era of technology, is it good? It is IMO the era of intrusion into privacy, huge steps forward and technology, when it goes wrong, is a disaster.
Musk states he made the blind see, but he appeared to take risks and experiment to the detriment of some to achieve. We must remember we are human beings…not Gods.
