Autumn Leaves

Many of you live in places where the colors of Autumn unfold in hues of russet, reds, golds, yellows and purples, painting golden sunny days.

It’s the season that I miss the most, as we really only have winter, and hot summers.

I miss walking through woods, with crunching leaves underfoot, the smell of wood smoke and earth after soft rain, and hazy sunshine through misty skies and wispy clouds.

I love making bonfires and clearing fallen trees. The Fall’s display of color, nature at its best.

Modern life does not always leave us time to watch nature’s seasons, swirling dancing leaves in the wind, animals playing in piles of leaves, or stockpiling to hibernate for cold winters ahead, and flurries,of snow. Its a time of reflection and peaceful days.
