Happy Halloween

Halloween has been celebrated for thousands of years, as an end to the harvest and hard times ahead.
It is the night all souls rise from their graves.
Witches, vampires, ghosts, werewolves, and ghouls are around, so if you go out, disguise yourself. So that they don’t spook you!
It’s a great time to dress up or party.

How would you choose to dress for Halloween?
I think I would be a ghost this year, and haunt a few people.

Beware of Smartphone Zombies

Some of them are like the walking dead, some near misses of those walking zombies who appear unaware of the world around them.

So let’s take a light hearted look at road names and signs. I’m glad my street has an ordinary name. I would just die if I lived in some places, and had to give the address of some roads.

The origins of some names are interesting too.

I stayed in a village called Lustleigh, so called because all the girls there were attractive and pretty there and it was a good pick up place for young men.

Some road signs are confusing at best, especially in foreign countries. In Melbourne, there is a hook turn to turn right go left and follow traffic round a short route.
